About Me
Wendy Rowntree BVMS MRCVS
I graduated from Glasgow University in 2000 and came to the North East from Fife in Scotland, for my first job.
I fell in love with the area and the canny people of Sunderland. I very quickly felt at home and so never left! In 2012 I decided to open my own practice in order to provide my patients with the best possible care without any constraints from higher powers.
I have been really fortunate that the practice has grown exponentially since then and I have found staff that share the same ethics as me and who are every bit as animal mad.
Life away from the practice is pretty hectic, with 3 children and 13 pets at home. Life is certainly never dull but I love what I do and wouldn’t have it any other way.
