At Kings Road Veterinary Clinic, we provide comprehensive care for your pets, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, diagnostic services (like X-rays and lab tests), and emergency care. We also offer specialized services such as nutritional counseling, behavioral advice, and senior pet care. Whether it’s preventive care or treatment for complex health issues, our dedicated team is here to ensure your pets stay happy and healthy.

We recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure we can provide dedicated time and attention to your pet. Appointments also help minimize wait times for you and your furry companion. However, we understand emergencies can arise, so we do accept walk-ins for urgent cases. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us at 0191 549 3535 ahead of time so we can prepare for your arrival.

For your pet’s first visit, please bring any previous medical records, vaccination history, and details about their diet and medications. If you’ve recently adopted a pet, bring adoption paperwork and any medical information provided by the shelter or breeder. For cats and small pets, a secure carrier is recommended, while dogs should be on a leash. This ensures your pet’s comfort and safety during their visit.

Routine check-ups are essential to your pet’s overall health. For most pets, we recommend a visit every 6 to 12 months. Puppies, kittens, senior pets, or animals with chronic conditions may require more frequent visits. Regular exams allow us to monitor your pet’s health, catch potential issues early, and keep their vaccinations and preventive treatments up to date. During the visit, we’ll tailor advice and care to your pet’s specific needs.

If your pet is having a medical emergency, such as difficulty breathing, severe vomiting, trauma, or sudden changes in behavior, please contact us immediately at 0191 549 3535. Our team is trained to handle a wide range of emergencies and will guide you on the next steps. If possible, call ahead so we can prepare for your arrival and provide immediate assistance upon your arrival. For after-hours emergencies, please visit the emergency contact information page on our website for recommended 24/7 clinics.
